I was talkin' to Marcha today and think the cruise this year is on May the 5th. I was wonderin' what ebverybody was doin' and if anybody was gonna have something different this year? I'm goin to try to get Floyd to cruise his Ranchero this year! It looks like Chris's car could come down to the wire this year. Seems like evey year we have a car that is being wrenched on right up til time to cruise! Stressful but alot of fun and good times with gearhead friends! You guys get on here and let us know what you're doing.

I hope I get a chance to make it. If not I will just be spectator again this year.   >:(

My brother-in-law Brian brought his smoker down the last 2 years. He does a excellent job! I haven't talked to him about this years cruise but I think he'll be up for it. We always have alot of food.

I have given up on street racing. Once I get the chassis dialed in a bit I wouldn't mind a few runs at a strip somewhere though.

I guess I just look back at all the hundreds of runs I made at cowlot and think, how lucky I was back then. (Example, 1. See my dirt run against stan. 2. See jerry and me getting clocked by three Hi'Po's at 134MPH on the big end 3. Steve Dembowski with 4 guys in his car 4. 100 people on the ditch at the big end 6 inches from the road ... and on and on)

I will be safe, mine might run low 7's with alot of nitrous, but will keep nitrous to a minimum. Maybe someone will step up.

I just looked at Jared's profile- I didn't know he put prostars on his Nova. They sure look good!

I'll ask him, not sure he has a way to get it down here. I hope he decides to bring it though. I am sure we can find a way to help him get it here.

Yea, I just did that in PS to see what it would look like with the prostar 96's on it.
I also did one with the Weld wheels and a couple others.

If I can get it sanded and primered flat black and wheels and tires, and a good radiator,
I'll come down.

I hope so! Everybody knows I love Chevy's, but we've been a little bowtie heavy the last couple of years. Maybe we know somebody with a couple of Buicks! You guys try to get Steve D. down here with one of his Olds. Even if we get too many GM cars we can park the Fords out back! Ha!

i know copus will have his chevelle out, and dewayne is dusting off the ol torino lol

copus and don have been in and out getting parts heard they fired theirs up about a week and a halft ago or so.... same with dewayne apparently he is building a big block for the torino not sure what size dont quote me but i think 429??   i saw pics of turners' new ride it is sweet even has a blower  8-).... this looks to be a promising year for some hot rods just hope it doesnt snow haha lol....

Slicks and snow don't really work too well together.

I am hoping to have the Camaro out for a little T N T this Friday. Danny ran my valves and timed it for me this evening. If I can get the hood finished and some loose ends, which there are a lot of, tied up I will get there. As far as the cruise goes, mine is too purpose built. I am not going to unleash it on the road. Not unless it is on a trailer.  8-)
