Hey,

I got the chassis dialed in and the car launching strait off of the line. I have a couple of more issues to work out this week and I will try it again next Friday night. I feel a little lucky though, they could be a lot worse than they are.  8-)

8.48 was her best time. But like I said I have some issues to deal with. Carb problems (dumping the Predator and ordered a new Demon tonight). Plus I have an issue with too tall of a tire. I did not put near enough gear in the rear end. I am going to try my smaller tires that I used to run this weekend and see how much of that problem is solved. If it does the trick, I will order a more properly sized tire for the car or maybe a new set of gears. Just need to see which is the best direction.

When I first got the thing it ran great and kept on going, but when it decided that it didn't want to go, it quit in a hurry. The rebuild kit is expensive for what you get also. I hope this mighty demon works out better, it is upgradable and everything which is a good feature for me.

When I got there and made my first couple of passes, it seemed tacky but not real sticky. As the night went on and it got dark and cool, it got slicker.

Hey gang,

I made it to WRP on Saturday and did a little testing until I was told of an oil leak. I have to go and find it now. I am going to make a gear change when I figure out what she needs, fix the oil leak and get back out in couple of weeks. I am planning on doing the car show this weekend and I am traveling with my band the following weekend. So, it gives me a little time to get it all back together.  :)
