ok guys need some help getting a few things for this '78 nova if im gonna make it for may 5 weekend, the only thing im lacking is a tranny crossmember and a carb looking for around a 750 holley... if anybody knows of a good used set of headers lmk if not new ones are right at $100 so no big deal... ill get pics posted in the next couple of days of all the progress thanks

Also I've seen it done alot but you could biuld your own crossmember for now.

Don't forget George up in Roosevelt...there are a couple of yards in Lawton that tended to have some old cars, one that I remember being pretty South of town out near the air port...not trying to take business away from Jim...just throwing out options since I spend more of my time searching yards vs. summit catalog...besides...its the thrill of the hunt...never know what you'll find...

Reply #9 - 03/15/07 at 13:26:14 I also have a set of SBC headers that came off my Nova...you'll just have to wait six weeks for me to get home from this deployment....keep it in mind if you don't find anything....they were for a 68-72 Chevelle but they fit mine just fine...I just upgraded...I'm pretty sure any SBC header short of a pickup will work on it...
