sometimes it's hard to consider the nova a street car even tho i drive it at least 120 miles a week every where i go even on the highway to the airport, in the past two weeks ive played with what seems to be altus' finest imports and my conclusion is that they are all talk granted they run really good up top but by the time i redline last gear im too far ahead for them to catch up... there has only been one import (not saying there isnt some really fast ones out there) that has beat me and that is smileys modded black wrx which i even suprised him by hangin with him, supposedly scott cumby has a 1200hp 3000gt vr4 havent seen it run and my opinion about all talk stands for that as well... the best way to see wut a car has is run next to it, the nova has a bone stock 305 and these guys are having trouble outrunning it with all the smack they talk

I still can run a high 12 with the controller turned off boosting like 5-7psi. And I use a DOT tire so its legal Hopefully it gets here next week. Im going through withdrawls already

In my opinion I would say a street car is something you can legaly(& that doesnt mean get by with driving it on the streets of Altus) drive it on the street and you could drive it to blair and back. I guess everyone has there on idea of what a street car is though but what do I know I'm driving a $200 escort because I refuse to give this gas companies any more of my money than I have to. I imgane my hotrod days are over unless Rowdy decides he wants to give jr dragster a shot. I'll still keep my old truck though I couldn't stand not to have something cool to drive once in a while. Maybe I'll buy a ws6 ta or a newer vette someday but whatever I do I will get at least 28mpg

Well Im a more "run what ya brung" type of person. Besides I paid $400 for this set of tires, so Im going to get my moneys worth. Wink

Oh and Im going to pick the car up first thing in the morning FINALLY!!! Shocked
