Pro Mod, 10.5 races at SMP
06/23/08 at 11:43:29

Went to the Pro Mod, 10.5 races at SMP, didnt bring a camera. Wished I would have, great show. A Mustang from OKC ran a 4.96 @ 147 on 10.5 tires. The AMX of the Brewers from Elgin Ok, set the Pro Mod track record, 4.11 @ 188 MPH. There was a good bunch of cars in both classes. Lots of good racing, track looked good. Most every pass the cars ran straight as a string. Lots of good acton. Everyone should go to the next race if you get the chance

FLOYD'S GOING TO TULSA THIS WEEKEND TO THE CDRA RACE  AND SO IS SAMMIE ARE YOU GOING. WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE TRACK SOUNDS LIKE EVERYONE ENJOYED IT. THE WAY DENNIS WAS TALKING THERE TRYING TO GET ANOTHER SHOW FOR THE FORTH OF JULY BUT NOT SURE ABOUT THAT. FLOYD WOULD LIKE TO RACE THAT SIX SECOND CLASS. HE THINKS THAT WOULD BE ALOT OF FUN.   CINDY

No, wont make Tulsa, there has been too much going on to get ready for up there. I dont know when Jim will be ready to race again. The track surface was great. Watching Randy Brewer run that 4.11, he went very straight, stayed hooked up all the way. To run 188MPH, the top end of the track was on. I watched Mike G in the Mustang on small tires stay hooked up all the way.

I am really loving it so far. All the hills and trees. I have only been here for a month so far though.
